Director, Coaching & Leadership Education Services
With over 20 years of progressive and diverse industry experience, Andy brings a unique perspective to his role as Director, Coaching and Leadership Education. He is accountable for our coaching practice leading a diverse and seasoned group of coaches, while providing direction and leadership within Verity’s leadership education centre (theLEADhub). Andy also delivers coaching to leaders at all levels, leaning on his broad experience to help his clients successfully navigate through personal and organizational change.
Prior to joining Verity, Andy worked with key firms in the HR Services and Solutions space such as Workday, Ceridian and Telus Sourcing Solutions. In addition, he worked with a manufacturer of consumer electronics products where he had oversight of all sales and marketing activities.
Andy has built a successful career in business development and sales leadership in very diverse organizations. A consistent President’s Club winner, Andy has a reputation for building high performance, award winning teams as well as bringing new and innovative strategies to business and market development. A collaborative and engaging leader, Andy focused on developing high performing individuals that led to building exceptional teams. An active member in the Strategic Capability Network, had has build a broad network across the HR community and is well regarded as a strategic partner by his customers.
Education & Experience
Andy is completing his coaching certification through The Adler Graduate Professional School and has completed the coaching program through CTI.
Verity specializes in leadership development coaching, applying an approach that identifies and builds upon people’s strengths, rather than concentrating on “fixing weaknesses”. We focus on the key leadership competencies and performance necessary for success within the organizational context. It is our belief that executives are often best coached by those with relevant executive experience, in addition to professional training in executive coaching techniques.
Our coaching approach is based on personal and collective (organizational) aspirations, goals and performance measures, where the coachee is responsible for his/her own learning and the coach is a resource and advisor.
